Ministries

We are known as a friendly place where everyone is welcome and made to feel at home.  We would love to have you come and join us!

We have the goal at Sheridannaz to reach out to our community and to the wider world with the love of Jesus.  We have a long history of ministry to children, youth, and adults.  We are making strides to become more effective and relevant in what we do.  We invite you to join us in one of our ministries.  There are many opportunities for involvement and service.  Our vision for the future leads us.  Come join us, grow with us, and serve with us.

The ministries of our church:

Sundays

9:45 a.m. Sunday School: We have classes for all ages that meet in various places in our facility.  The classes study the Bible and contemporary issues.  This is the prime time for us to grow in discipleship.

10:45 a.m. Worship: The is the major gathering of our community where we sing, pray, and heard a message from the Bible.  We sing a wide variety of songs, led by our talented musicians.  Our services are relaxed and have room for spontaneity.  They are noted for their joy and refreshing.

6:30 p.m.  Praise Service: This service is generally more relaxed.  Often, people may choose their own songs.  We enjoy hearing God’s work through testimonies.  Once a month we focus upon world wide missions.

Wednesdays

7:00 p.m. We have activities for all ages:  Children, Youth and Adult.  Presently, the adults are studying the New Testament Book of Romans, led by Pastor Dave.  We are praying for more effectiveness for this time for all our ages.  Come and join us, grow with us, and serve with us.
